GD Goenka was founded to raise the bar for school education in India. From the very beginning, we chose to lead, not follow. We were the first to introduce GPS-enabled, air-conditioned school buses — the iconic yellow buses that set a new benchmark in safety and comfort.
We ensured children drank only mineral water, long before it became common practice, and brought in clinical psychiatrists to support emotional well-being at a time when few were even speaking of mental health in schools.
In an age of AI, rapid change and global challenges, our duty is to equip students not just with knowledge, but resilience, empathy, and a sense of purpose. Every child deserves an education that honours their individuality and prepares them to face the world with courage and confidence.

Carrying forward the legacy established by his father Shri Anjani Kumar Goenka, Mr. Nipun Goenka brings a fresh, forward-looking perspective to the GD Goenka Group. With a deep commitment to innovation in pedagogy and student well-being, he has been instrumental in expanding the Group's footprint to over 150 K-12 schools across India and beyond.
Under his stewardship, GD Goenka has embraced technology-led learning, introduced industry-aligned curriculum frameworks, and strengthened the Group's global partnerships — ensuring students are prepared not just for examinations, but for life in a rapidly changing world.
Mr. Nipun believes that education is the single greatest equaliser, and he remains personally invested in making quality schooling accessible across all geographies. His leadership continues to inspire both faculty and students to reach higher, grow stronger, and shine brighter — the true spirit of the GD Goenka motto.

It is extremely gratifying to note that G.D. Goenka Public School is coming up with the noble mission to impart education in a city like Unnao located on the eastern bank of River Ganges. The school assures to prove itself as a citadel of knowledge and education. Possessing a rich and diverse background in education with focus on understanding the needs of special children, I am certain my experience will help understand the littlest nuances and the changing, dynamic landscape of pedagogy.
